My boyfriend and I are long distance, we’ve been together for 7 months. I went to visit him before, he’s in California. He doesn’t have his license since in California it’s only a ticket. He’s coming to visit me soon but here you’d be arrested, so hes trying to get his license. We’ve had to reschedule twice now because no spots are available to take the test for the DL. He’s checking cities 2/3 hours away as well. Should he just walk in random days and see if not all show up? Our next attempt is March 4th. How can he get his DL on time if no spots are open?

Does he need to have it by a certain time? Also does he have a drivers permit already? Otherwise he won’t be able to take the test at all, if it’s going to expire you can get it extended. Keep checking the places to see if there are any spots open usually there are multiple dmv in your city he can look to see if they have a spot open. P.S. make sure he doesn’t drive at all if he doesn’t have a license as it’s not worth it to get a ticket or arrested and he can be putting his life and others at risk
