Late period??

How soon after your missed period did you test to see if you were pregnant? How soon did you get a positive? I’m one day late with a negative(I’m NEVER late..) could it still be too early to test? HELP!

I waited until I was 3-4 days late because I’ve been 2 days late before and then AF showed and it was so discouraging to know I’d wasted tests!
