I'm feeling sad. I'm in a city where its touch to make friends (near Seattle) and although I've been here for 1 year, I have no real connection with anyone. So that's left me with no baby shower too. This is my first pregnancy (could be my last as I'm over 40yo) and the whole 8 months have lacked the celebratory attention I was expecting. It's been a bit depressing that the pregnancy has been no big deal really.... i haven't even had maternity photos taken and no nursery yet because I'm moving soon into my first house. How do you suggest I celebrate this special time in my life? My husband gets way more attention!!!
