I need advice! We have been home only two days from Children’s with our two week hold who spiked a fever a few days ago. Doctors determined it was just a common cold virus (no bacterial infections detected) and his temp has since normalized. We sent our 2.5 year old to my parents for the weekend bc of a runny nose and cough but while he was there he vomited twice last night so now I’m guessing he has whatever stomach bug is going around. Now my parents are coming down with something so toddler has to come home today. HOW do I keep this thing from spreading to my newborn?! My plan is to just put dad on Toddler duty and keep the baby upstairs in the bedroom with me for the next day or so but I’m still so paranoid! And also not completely convinced we can stay totally quarantined in one room for days.
