How much sex do you have while TTC?

I’m new to the TTC. I’m curious as of how much sex do ppl really have while TTC before ovulation and during. I have some friends that say multiple times a day but then I go and do my own research and it says the sperm count will be low if u do it too much. I guess what I want to know is what worked for you guys? Thank you!

We are still trying but have sex whenever we want before my fertile week then every other day during my fertile week. This time we are going to try every other day and then when I ovulate or get my positive OPK do it for those few days every day.

Four times a week is about average. Depending on your cycle though there is about 10 days where my doctor told me that my husband and I need to try everyday. Also get OPKs that way you know when you ovulate. When you get a positive then you have intercourse that day and the 2 days following. Or since you just started trying just have fun with it and dont worry about scheduled sessions. Trust me I wish it could happen for us more organically but I have PCOS so everything is on a calender! I’m still ttc #2 but my dh and I bd during fertile week every other day so my week started the 6th this month and I ovulate tomorrow according to this app so we started the 6th and have done it every other day. Hope this helps

We did every other day during my fertile week. The month I conceived (6th month of ttc) we only did it 1x the whole month but it was in my fertile week.
