So I was in labor for 50 hours when my son finally made his grand entrance via C-section, and had to stay in the hospital for 4 days recovering, and I had a extra terrible C section recovery due to some of the circumstances of my labor.

The night we came home from the hospital (Tuesday night) my husbands dad, uncle, and their parents came straight over to see the baby. (They came in from out of state) they came over from about 2/3-9 on Wednesday and Thursday before heading home.

Friday his mom and her parents flew in around 11am, got to our house around 1 and stayed until about 9 and came from about noon-9 Saturday as well.

Now it’s Sunday and they’ve been here since about 9/10am. I’ve been so patient and not cared about the fact that I literally only get to hold my son when it’s time for bed or when I’m feeding him. His mom holds him until he wakes up hungry, I go to the room to feed and change him, and then his grandma immediately holds him until that happens again and so on.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m lucky to say I LOVE my in laws and we don’t get to see them too often so I’ve tried to be patient, but just now my husband really got me upset.

After my MIL Was holding him for over 2 hours, he woke up hungry so we went in his room to nurse and he pooped a little while in so I changed him and then he was still hungry so switched sides and he pooped again while he was eating. My husband came in right after I finished burping him and was just snuggling him for like 3 minutes and he was like being pissy and impatient because I didn’t come out of the room as soon as he finished eating. So he changed him for me but little guy was still acting hungry so I insisted on feeding him again (the doctor said feed him as much as he will eat) even though my husband rolled his eyes because it would mean another 10+ minutes in the room... and he pooped AGAIN and peed all over himself and his clothes when I changed him 🤦🏼‍♀️

And when I came out after all that my husband was like “finally” and I about slapped him

All I wanted to do was have a few extra minutes of holding my son but I’m like holy shit I guess I’m Not allowed to hold him just to hold him and not just to feed him, when I’m not in the room I literally don’t hold him at all, which I’ve been nice about because his family is only here a few days and they won’t see him for a few months. But now I’m just annoyed and ready for everyone to leave so I can finally have time alone with my sweet baby.

Am I being unreasonable? How would you feel?
