Period like cramps?

I’m having some dull achy cramping today at 16 weeks. I mostly notice them when I’m sitting. I googled and of course freaked myself out... is this just stretching/growing pains?

I started having the same thing around 16w as well, and sometimes, especially at night, it would get pretty intense. I freaked out too, but it's really just that your growing uterus is at the point where it's starting to give a good stretch to its surroundings. I noticed that mine often appear either when my bladder is full, when I'm having a constipation peak (sorry if tmi but it really makes everything much worse down there), right after a meal, or a combination of all of the above. I'm now a little over 20w and I've been taking lots of baths lately, they help at lot with ligament pain and it relaxes me so much, that's always a bonus 😊😊

If it helps any.. I have had period like cramps my entire pregnancy. Im 28 weeks. My doctor said it was fine. As long as no spotting and it’s not severe pain
