anyone not want more children?

hey guysss, sorry if i hurt anyone’s feelings (i love ya’ll) since i know most of you ladies are TTC. On the other hand, for those who do not want more children this post is for you! How did your partner react to your decision? Why don’t you want more children? Im 20 & i just have 1 child ik i probably sound selfish but pregnancy is so beautiful but after birth is not so pretty 😞 im scarred for life literally to have more children, yes i did have support from my fiancé but at the same time he didnt feel what i felt during my postpartum. i also know that i have wayyyyyy more years ahead of me & my partner wants more children eventually i just dont know if i can promise him that. i want to become a lawyer after grad school & focus on my career & i have an education with my son now idk i just dont think im strong enough for more babies do you ladies know where im coming from? 🤕

I had my first at a young age. I felt that way for many years. Almost got my tubes tied and everything. I was always happy before with my single baby girl but I was also in college and doing all that. One of my doc friends told me before I tied my tubes that I should give myself some time. That after I graduated and was more financially stable and with someone I really love things might look different. I thought she was insane. 
Then as I got closer to my thirties I met my hubby. For the first time in my life I actually WANTED this mans baby. It was very strange.  I tell him on our first date that I wanted a baby with him (creepy right) and he actually agreed. Not right away. We dated for a few years. We got married but here I am 5yrs later about to have my second baby. I adopted his son in the meantime so I technically have three kids soon. 
Life has a way of protecting you at times and changing when we grow and have more time to enjoy our lives first. My point is don’t decide your entire life today. Go to school. Enjoy your baby and don’t feel like you have an imaginary clock that makes all your choices. I have never been more in love or felt so grateful I didn’t tie my tubes back then. My friend was right. I just needed to be ok with where I was at the time ❤️

I’m 25 and have a 7 week old. My husband and I decided during my pregnancy that our son would more than likely be our only child. Sense his birth we are 100% sure we don’t want another baby. I had a few different complications during my pregnancy and they will more than likely happen during another pregnancy. I just can’t justify putting myself, my husband and now my son through that again. Plus this newborn stage is HARD! I can’t fathom how moms do this with a toddler! Hands up to those who do!!👏🏻

I am currently pregnant with my second. My husband and I had a long conversation and if we wanted more kids or not, and ultimately decided no. This will be my second c section, and I know the more c sections you have the higher chance of complications in subsequent pregnancies. We are both content with our two girls and I will be having my tubes removed during my c section!!

I had a stillbirth at 17. Had my son at 26, he was premature. I then got pregnant a little over a year later with my daughter. That pregnancy was hell because of my son being premature. I ended up having my daughter only 4 days earlier than her due date. So all the stress my doctor put me under was all for nothing. I absolutely love my kiddos. With that being said, I am on birth control again, something I said I'd never do ever again.  I never want the stress of being pregnant again. My husband agrees. He was actually the one to say we were done first. So unless we have an oops we are done.

We always said we wanted three children. I have endometriosis and I really didn’t know if we’d be having any kids for awhile. We finally had our miracle baby girl and then I unexpectedly got pregnant again when she was 8 months old with our son. 
Having both sexes and so close together we decided we were done. I had a really rough time with a lot of guilt trying to split the attention between my two and i didn’t want to have to start over again once they were older.
