How much breast milk should my 7 week old son be eating?

A couple weeks ago I decided to start pumping and feeding him out of the bottle to see how much he is eating because he never seems satisfied. Well since then he has been averaging around 4-5oz each feeding every 3-4 hours to be completely satisfied and I’m not able to produce that much so I started supplementing one feeding a day.

Well I went out to the store today while my husband watched our son. It was time for his formula bottle so my husband made him a 4oz bottle. My husband says he would not stop crying and seemed hungry still so he made another 4oz. My son ended up eating a full 7oz and that just seems like too much to me. More so because about 3.5 hours later my son wanted more.

Please keep in mind he does still get breast milk from the source. I’m trying to limit to early mornings and afternoons and at night as I will be going back to work soon and I won’t be able to breastfeed him while at work but I do sometimes have to feed him after his bottle to get him fully satisfied.
