Writing a Book for My Daughter

My daughter was conceived after about a year of trying, heartbreak, and loss. And I just knew that when we did manage to get a baby that stuck, it would be worth all the pain. I knew whoever it was we’d bring into this world would be special, and I felt that as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I haven’t met her just yet, but my daughter is already the light of my life. I’ve been working on writing a book (not a novel, just a short book of stories of how she came to be, how me and her mom met, and how life was leading up to her arrival). When she’s old enough, I want her to know just how important she is, and so that’s why I’m writing it for her to read. Not 100% sure why I’m posting this, just thought I’d share.
