Who has had the epidural with a c section

I am having identical twins and have been told that a c section is the only way to have my babies.. I have always just had a natural birth no meds nothing. So this is my first. Please tell me the details of having it all done and help me relieve my anxiety with the whole thing..

Oh man...unless they’re breech, that’s not true! You can totally give birth to twins naturally if that’s what you want.

I ended up needing a c section after a failed induction. it takes 20 minutes for prepping you (spinal, blood pressure, testing to see if your numb etc) partner then came in. It takes 5 mins for them to deliver baby. And 45 minutes for them to sort you out afterwards.

I found having an epidural before my emergency c-section completely painless. You become numb very quickly! They check you’re numb before they operate, you just feel pulling in a painless way and baby is out very quickly! X
