Pennsylvania child support help?

So I'll try to make this short and to the point.

My ex and I ended up conceiving after being together for 1 month. My son just turned 4 last week and in all this time my ex has contributed maybe a total of $100 to him. I filed for child support in November because even though my current bf is willing to help me not only raise but pay for everything for my son, i feel like he shouldn't have to. We've had 3 child support conferences and my son's biological father hasn't showed up to any of them. Next their going to have a deputy hand serve him the papers for the next conference. It's so frustrating. I need support from moms who have been there. He has absolutely no interest in being a father. We only hear from him maybe once a month. My son doesn't recognize him on the rare chance he does see him and refers to him as his "old dad" The "man" didn't even say happy birthday to him on his actual birthday because as "he told me he was mad at his cousin" He's really a terrible father. Anyone have any idea on how long it'll take for the courts to actually take action against him?
