Contractions

I'm 36 weeks today is it normal to start having irregular Contractions? mines come and go but sometimes are back to back starts in the front lower part of my stomach close to my pelvis a lil pain in the lower back. I didnt have any of this with my last two so this is new to me Thanks ladies
