Can I take Miralax or off brand during first trimester?

For the life of me I can’t remember anything and I see the doc on wed but am constipated so bad!

Im not sure but you could try magnesium citrate. It’s safe for pregnancy and is all natural plus it works in 12 hours instead of 3 days like miralax. We switched to this because my three year old has chronic constipation and we did not feel comfortable with him taking mirlalax every day for the rest of his life. Also chiropractors can help with consolation to!

I think Metamucil is one of the only things you can take? Any laxative medications can stimulate uterine contractions. I was just looking it up like 2 days ago because I’m super constipated too 😂 6 weeks 4 days. Good luck! Water, walking, fiber rich foods, and Metamucil if you want to take something.
