I’m going to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital for 2-3 days, what to expect?

I’m 16 and very scared. I’m being put in a (adolescent) psych ward for a suicide watch and I’m freaking out. What should I expect? What’s gonna happen??? What will they take from me/not allow me to have?

I did 6 days when I was 17. It's not bad. You may do group therapy, one on one therapy, some art, and skills on how to manage your feelings and thoughts. You can't have any shoe laces, draw strings, belts, and things like that. It's gonna be alright.

I don’t know what you should expect, but just try to be calm. I know that’s redundant to say, but you must try to just breathe and relax. You won’t be there for long, right? Just think of it as little trip away from home where you get cared for and such. You’ll be okay :)
