I need some advice

So I was on birth control pills for 4 years due to me having my period for months straight so I was put on them to regulate my cycle. I switched to nuva ring last March then got off them in August so we could start trying. My period didn’t come for 3 months, Christmas eve AF came and I was hopeful it would regulate. Now I’m 15 days late, no positive tests and no sign of period. Has anyone else had an experience like this? How long will it take for my period to regulate?
