The first one is beautifully simplistic, I love it 😊 
For the faces, look at proportions. It’s easily done to draw the eyes too big, don’t be tempted. Eyes don’t take up that much room on the face. 
Secondly, the noses are too small for the face you’ve drawn. Don’t be afraid to sketch out the features first and get them proportionate to each other. 
Lastly look at the outline of the face. Faces look more like “(“ as opposed to “/“ if that makes sense? The chin sticks out so it makes the face a diagonal. Don’t be hesitant to sketch first! 
But good job! You’ve got the shape of the features really well. Add some shading for 3D effect too!
