Purple line theory???

I have a purple line to the top of my booty crack. I read that a purple line indicates dilation. I was 3 cm dilated on Friday. 
Does anyone know how accurate this is???

I definitely have a purple line but I’m not sure  about dilation. I get checked on Thursday so I’ll come back and let ya know! I’m very curious now!

Well I just checked and I have a very purple line that goes almost to the top! 😂 I hope it means he is getting ready to arrive!

It honestly confuses the tar out of me. I tried to use it/figure it out with my last pregnancy and never could understand it. 🤷🏻‍♀️
