My daughter has been since she was 2, but she still wears diapers to nap and sleep. She started sitting on her little potty at 1 and I started teaching her to pee on it shortly after. What I would do is wake her up right before she would normally wake up, or let herself wake up but instantly run her to the bathroom because she always peed as soon as shed wake up, she useto make a particular face when she did it lol. When shed pee in the potty I'd show it to her and make a big deal with clapping and saying good job and showing it to her. It helps to have an actual little seat for them not the ones that go on top of the toilet because they can be uncomfortable to them at first if they're small.

We did the Oh Crap Potty Training method at 20 months. Went really well. Completely trained since Day 6.

I'm so glad to see this post! My MIL keeps making comments about how LO us too big to be in diapers and how my husband was out of them by 2 (likely story). My husband of course believes his mother and has been reducing the number of diapers we buy, as if that will miraculously make him use the potty better. LO us just starting to show signs of readiness, so I'll probably start being more active about it soon.

My daughter at 1 and 1.5 on the potty. To start off it is better to have an individual seat. I also learned to have a designated toy/books for her while shes on the potty. Her magnetic drawing board has been consistantly her potty toy. Top pic is her now and she only wears diapers when she sleeps and she doesnt always pee in them. Last accident she had was waiting to sit on santas lap lol! Oh and I completely skipped pull ups and went straight to underwear

We are starting full force this summer. I am a teacher and will
Be home with him everyday. Also I will just keep him wo pants on for three days. 
He knows now to go in the potty, just prefers not to. I also am in no rush bc his school doesn’t “assist” with it till they are 2.5. They will of course take him if he asks but they won’t take the reigns until they are 2.5.
