pain on both sides where my ovaries are during sex sometimes around ovulation normal?

ovulation is coming I think & every month there’s a few days where in certain positions (doggystyle) I have pains during sex just where my ovaries are... no pain other than sex is this normal?

It can be normal, but it also can be abnormal if that makes sense. As long as it isn't persistent throughout the duration of your cycle you should be okay. If it is only happening during near your ovulation time it can be that he is pushing up too hard against the wall near your ovaries. Your ovaries make cysts (follicles) every month to push the egg out. It can cause discomfort especially at certain angles. As long as it doesnt persist longer than a week or so, usually it's okay. If the pain persists though I would see your doctor because you could be at risk for rupturing.
