My kids had zero idea we were ttc. I didn’t want to get their hopes up if it wasn’t going to go well (I have pcos and endometriosis). But now I’m 5 weeks and plan to tell them around 12 weeks.

They are going to be SHOCKED.

I thought about giving them each a little gift. Having my older daughter open hers first and have it be a “big sister” shirt, which I’m sure she’ll roll her eyes at because it’s so kiddish. Then have my younger daughter open hers, expecting a “little sister” shirt but actually having it say “big sister.”

Any other ideas? I want this to be a moment they never forget.
