Are cramps necessary in early pregnancy?

I can’t wait to carry my baby to term so I can reassure other mamas! A lot of people on this app are helpful. 
Are cramps necessary for a healthy pregnancy? 
I had a missed miscarriage back in November and with that pregnancy I had cramps quite often. Now I would like to know if you have to feel cramps/ are they a good thing. 
I haven’t had any symptoms other than sore nipples and I’m 6 weeks 2 days so I’m curious. N

Every pregnancy is different. I’ve had cramping throughout my pregnancies. Cramping early to cramping all the way through pregnancy. I’ve also known women who never cramped. Just depends I guess.

With this pregnancy I didnt have any symptoms at all other than my missed period and I'm 29 weeks tomorrow

I cramped this pregnancy with my first pregnancy I absolutely had no symptoms

Not necessary... no “pregnancy” symptom is.
I just had my 12 week scan, for my 2nd baby, everything was perfect.
Both for this pregnancy, and the pregnancy with my daughter I had basically no pregnancy symptoms.
