Some will talk to you for days and never plan on meeting, others will talk to you for minutes and expect you to drive to their house. There are exceptions, but anticipate that everyone is there for a hookup, not a relationship. With that being said I’ve actually made some good friends on tinder (after dates if the chemistry wasn’t there or I decided not to hookup) so be open to different possibilities!

Personally, I like to snapchat someone for a little bit before I meet them in person because it's pretty easy to make a fake dating profile but it's harder to fake snapchats so it makes me feel a little safer. That being said, definitely meet in a public place for the first date and don't get in a car with them until you know them better.
