I’m so confused.

I had my first round of Clomid 50mg this cycle. On 2/3 I got a positive ovulation test (test line was as dark as the control line and got lighter from there on out) and then I had cramping on 2/4 which i assumed was ovulation pain. I ovulated on CD 16, which was one day past the “estimated” ovulation date and had to do my CD 21 test for progesterone on CD 20.

Got a call yesterday that my blood work came back and showed I didn’t ovulate. I’m at a loss. I swore it happened this time. I’m so disappointed.

Do you ladies think there is a chance my levels weren’t high enough yet because I ovulated a day later then expected and then had my test taken a day early?

I’m going to ask my doctor on Friday at my follow up. I’m sure she will say no and I’m trying not to get my hopes up.
