“You’re not out till AF arrives” or do you go more by dpo and pregnancy tests results?

I agree with that term 100% with my first pregnancy I didn't get a positive until 2 weeks after, with my second I never until 6 weeks into a pregnancy and then my third I got a positive at 9 days past ovulation. Some women don't get positives until much later aswell.

FOR ME-I go by DPO. But other people, given I don’t know their circumstances, I’d believe the adage. I’m undergoing fertility treatments so I know exactly when I’m ovulating.

I was 2 weeks late according to glow when i got my positive. I didn’t ovulate until around cycle day 30-35 so my period wasn’t technically late although i thought it was. So yeah everyone is different. If you’re tracking ovulation tho the chance of that happening is very slim.

My husband and I knew I was pregnant at 8dpo, we tested then and got our positive. I go by the positive. If I had to wait for AF, I'd have a baby in my arms first. I do understand waiting until AF is due or over due to test but judging by how many women here post about negative tests but missed periods, I think the tests are the only accurate indicators.

DPO. I got my positive at 16 DPO. But I’ve also had months where I’ve skipped periods so waiting on my period isn’t always reliable. If I don’t get a positive by 18/19 DPO I’m definitely out

Based on my experience I go by dpo. I’ve gotten bfps at 10dpo and super dark lines by the time af is supposed to arrive. So usually if I don’t have a positive by 12/13 dpo I count myself out. Everyone is different though.
