I waited until after my baby shower (34 weeks) to start buying things so that I could use my completion discount! It was a big bill at the end, but we saved several hundreds of dollars by using the completion discount so I don’t regret it at all. Actually, I forgot we did buy my car seat and stroller before my shower, when I was only 29 weeks, because Nordstrom had them on sale at that time for their half yearly sale. I wasn’t planning on registering for those anyway, so it worked out.
