5 weeks 5 days, no gestational sac on ultrasound...

According to my last period. I’m 5 weeks 5 days... I went in today and got an ultrasound and they saw nothing, not even a sac... I’m beyond heartbroken.... We got pregnant so quickly this go round and now it’s falling apart... Has this ever happened to anyone? I go back in next week to get another scan... Will I hopefully see something then...
