Anyone out there having success with naps?

LO is nearing 4 months and won't seem to nap longer than 30 minutes. And he gets SUPER cranky when he's tired. I try to let him put himself back to sleep, but eventually he starts crying. But then once he's up, he doesn't want to do anything because he's still tired. What to do??

I wish I had some amazing solution for you but..my LO is going through the EXACT same thing. Hoping it’ll get better in time! Sometimes he’ll just sleep for 10 minutes maybe! It’s crazy!

I dont know how we got into the routine but my LO takes 3 naps a day and she is like clock work! 1 hour nap at 6, 2hr nap from 9-11, and a 2 hour nap from 2-4. She then sleeps from 7pm until 4am 🤷‍♀️ she started solidifying this routine when she started daycare. All the other kids nap at 9 and at 2 so I am sure that is how she got the routine

I thought it was just my boy! 19 weeks today and the past 3 days have been 30 mins naps..used to take hour long ones

Same 🙋‍♀️ my daughter naps like 25-45 minutes. Her average is 30 minutes. She usually seems fine with short naps, just gets fussier in the evenings when it’s closer to bedtime.

My guy takes about 3 1 hr naps throughout the day. He starts to get fussy I pop a paci in and hold him like I’m nursing walk around for 5 min he either falls all the way asleep or gets super drowsy and then I put him in his swing with music on. He won’t nap in his pac n play for even 30 min though
