Hard pimple like stuff on scrotum

My husband has these bumps on his scrotum, not his penis or shaft. It’s like a hard boil. Like a pimple that you can’t pop. The other day he was squeezing it and it didn’t pop but a few days after it got swollen bigger and popped. Lots of yellowish pus came out with blood. And now there’s a little scar there. But there are still other bumps there. I’m scared that because of those I’m not getting pregnant. Can that be the cause. I’m waiting for him to get a doctor and then can have it checked out. Sorry for long post... please help.
