Medical marijuana and breastfeeding

I am currently breastfeeding my 14 month old daughter. I can no longer take pain medication due to having medical issues. My doc recommended I get my medical card b im in chronic pain all the time. Does anyone on her breast fed and smoke? I know it would go into the milk but has it had negative effects?
