My husband and I have our first appointment at the fertility clinic tomorrow and I am so excited/relieved/nervous/anxious. I’m feeling so many emotions but I’m honestly just so happy to get this ball rolling. We have been NTNP for 2 years and actively trying with charting and OPKs and stuff for about 7 months.

Also another note to anyone else who is considering getting help from an RE, just pick up the phone and do it. Advocate for yourself. My PCP was fully onboard with referring us, but then we were going to have to wait 7 months to be seen as new patients. I called back twice to see about any cancellations, and the kind receptionist is getting us started by seeing a PA for our initial visit. She said that this would be just ordering tests, getting a history, etc, and then the RE would meet with us later.

I am SO GLAD that I called again. We are getting started with the office 4 months earlier than planned because of it.
