Breastfeeding struggles

Today a nurse in the nicu ALMOST made me feel incompetent and less then because I was “barely bringing” my 35 weeker “anything”. Everything from early stages of labor to first time motherhood has been a whirlwind. So much so that I almost forgot I had my son 28 HOURS AGO!!! Of course I have no breast milk yet! I can’t believe the disrespect and inconsiderate acts of these nurses smh.

I brought him almost 3ml of colostrum in the first day of his life. This is without skin to skin, without bonding or even seeing him until nearly 6/7 hours after he was born! And was made to wait even longer to get materials to pump which offers no colostrum!!The absolute balls on people smh
