Lost 6 pounds in my first week!

Elizabeth

I am 17 and have had a knee injury that has caused me to steadily decrease in workouts and exercises for 3 years. The last 6 months of 2018 i wasn’t walking more than 1,000 steps a day because of my problems. January 9,2019 I had my knee surgery and I have not been approved to be doing more than 5000 steps a day more then 3 times a week by my physical therapist. So the pre-op for my surgery i weighed in at 191, i honestly think the scales were jacked because when I came back a week later I was 181, and I didn’t do anything different so I say I started my journey at 181. I am 5’3 and a mostly sedentary lifestyle, I used to eat whatever I wanted and stayed skinny before I couldn’t work out. Once I stopped I steadily gained weight. So in three years I gained around 60 pounds and most of it wasn’t bad until I started not liking the way I was looking. So after surgery I realized I had to do something at my post post op i had weighed and I weighed at 178. I knew about Keto and decided to give it a shot, but I started at 150 carbs max a day WHICH WAS A HUGE CUT BACK FOR ME. I then went to 75, then to 50, then to 25. The first week I didn’t see a difference in my body, but the scales showed a 6 pound difference. Today I put on the same shorts I put on the first day I started to see a difference and today was exactly 14 days. I check my weight tomorrow and will update but I see a difference already. The crazy thing is I’m not starving myself at all!!! I enjoy food I like by adjusting small things to make them Keto friendly. I still want to be at 150 and see how I feel. But for now I feel everything is going great.
