Tomas or Thomas

My husband I both agreed on the name Thomas for a boy. He’s Latin and likes the spelling Tomas better. He said the h isn’t even pronounced anyways so what does it matter.

I think my iffy-ness about it is an old coworker of mine has a son named Tomas (pronounced ToeMas and not Thomas) and he’s a turd.

Idk are all husbands this opinionated about names or is it just mine?! Cause even for a girl he has it all picked out- thankfully I was able to have input in the middle name!
