When did you move your baby into there own room?

I’m asking this as it has got to the point where I cant sleep well at night baby has been sleeping through since 9 weeks and is now 5 months old I’m waking myself up in the night to check on her even tho I know she’s fine and it’s starting to take it’s toll on me I’m exhausted when did you move your baby into their own room ?

They recommend waiting at least 6-12 months. We moved our daughter between 6 and 7 months.

At almost 8 months. When he slept through the night at my in laws and for a week in our room, we knew he was ready. He’s done great. A few rough nights, but overall everyone sleeps better. Right now he’s awake at 5:30 but because he can’t see us, he’s just chatting to his nuks instead of crying for us to pick him up. Allows us to get ready for work.

I know it’s recommended to share rooms for 1 year or a minimum of 6 months, but I moved her in at 4.5 weeks. She still only sleeps in her bassinet and not crib, but we both sleep better! Our bedroom is very drafty so she would always wake up and now her room is toasty and she sleeps 7 hours. Don’t stress it. Whatever feels comfortable, but just know if you stress about every little thing you’ll continue to be exhausted! Lo is only 6weeks at the moment though!

Undecided but we put her in her crib during days so it and the room aren’t unfamiliar. At night she sleeps in pack n play in our room. She is almost 3 weeks

Just moved my LO to his crib a couple of weeks ago... he’s 3 months old. He sleeps so much better in his room.. if you are worried about her being okay and constantly checking on her, I would recommend getting the Owlet, it’s a heart rate monitor. It’s pretty pricey but totally worth it in my opinion. I would constantly check on him throughout the night and barely got sleep even when he slept through.

We moved my daughter to her room around 7/8 months and it was the best choice we ever made! We all slept better. I didn’t realize I was waking up, and getting up, to every noise she made. My son is 6 weeks old and we plan to move him to his room earlier than we did her. Maybe 4/5 months. We’ll see 🤷🏻‍♀️
