Anyone else?

Have problems with their toddlers not wanting to eat?! My little girl is 2 and for the past few days she doesn’t want food! Do they go through this? I offer her a variety of foods throughout the day but, she won’t take it but, can clearly tell she’s hungry because she’ll then eat a snack food.

It is 100% absolutely normal! My pediatricians say it’s actually abnormal for a toddler to eat a lot.

It is normal for toddlers to go through phases and be picky with food. Keep offering a variety of food, limit snacks between meals to healthy options...but toddlers often graze rather than eat 3 meals a day. My daughter would go through phases where she would eat only yogurt for days. Or perhaps your kiddo isn't feeling well...that can change meal habits. Go ahead and let her eat when she is hungry just offer healthy snack options (cheerios or fruit or yogurt or a hard boiled egg or carrots and peanut butter to dip).
