I am considering asking my OB if I can get an induction scheduled on the calendar after my due date in case baby doesn’t come sooner... I am 39 weeks & have had 3 episodes of prodromal labor in the past 2 weeks that amounted to nothing. I cannot sleep at night, and I have a toddler at home that keeps me busy. So I don’t have a “medical reason” for needing one, but I just really cannot imagine this lasting much longer & feel like it might be helpful for me to have an end in sight if all else fails.

Has anyone done this before? What are your thoughts? I don’t prefer to be induced, but I think I would prefer it to the extra 1-2 weeks of misery, false labor, and no sleep. 😂
