Grandmother constantly compares grandkids

How would you feel if every time you talked about your child to their grandparents they constantly compared him to their other grandkids?? Am I the only one that gets so annoyed with this? Example: I say "my son is always smiling...even his teachers tell me everyone noted what a happy baby he is when they visit the room" . Response: "well [insert nieces nephews names] were always smiling too".

Okay... #1... not true, #2... I wasn't comparing...I was simply trying to share your grandsons disposition since you see him every 6 weeks (not even a phone call or video chat to see how he is doing). It's so annoying and its destroying my once very strong relationship with my inlaws. I'm sick of the comparisons and idk how to just brush it off and not feel annoyed every time I see them.
