Is 30 weeks too early for baby shower?

I’m due April 22nd and I always thought I would have my baby shower mid March. (which would put me at 34/35 weeks)
Well my sister in law will be out of town from February 23rd until the end of March so Im having to do my baby shower this weekend so she doesn’t miss it. I’ll be 30 weeks at my baby shower.. is that a pretty normal time to have a baby shower? I feel like most people have them closer to the end. When will/did you have your baby shower?

No. I think anything from 25 weeks on is fair game for a baby shower. 😀

I had mine at 29 weeks almost 30 weeks. I recommend doing it earlier than 34-35 because at 30 weeks I was still exhausted from entertaining people.

my baby shower is march 10th! i’ll be 35wk1d by then... my husband & i already have everything ready in our home... nursery’s done, bags are almost complete, clothes/blankets are washed & organized! thats why we chose to do it later bc we won’t have to do everything a month before our baby girl is here! ❤️ but i think 30 weeks is a good time to have a shower!! i’ve been to showers that were way earlier than that!

Not too early at all. I’m due the day before you and having mine next Saturday. I wanted to have it this weekend, but my mom had some other obligations this weekend. 
It’s actually better to have it early. This way, you will be able to enjoy the shower without being too uncomfortable. You will also have plenty of time to organize everything and buy anything you still need without feeling rushed

With my son I had my shower at 28 weeks, some have it earlier than that. It’s whatever you want, I liked having it early so I still had time to get what I didn’t get from my registry and have time to get his nursery ready

I’m having one at 30w and one at 31w ... I think it’s perfect!! Cute belly in photos still (not massive and uncomfortable), Time to get all the last minute things and setup, etc

I just had my shower on February 9th and I’m due April 9th which made me 31 weeks at my shower and I’m happy I did because me at 32 weeks Is having tons of hip pressure and shooting pains in my bum and I would’ve been miserable

I am due April 21st and I had mine Feb. 3rd. I did it early so I can get the things I didn’t get at my shower. 😀
