Favourite things to buy at Costco?

We are considering buying a Costco membership, but neither my hubby or I have ever been to one, and the closest Costco is over an hour away. Everyone seems to love Costco though!  
What are the best things to buy at Costco? Do you think you save money, or is it more of a bulk convenience? Is it worth the membership price?

For me it is, even though we aren’t a big family I can save on bulk for things like meat, milk, cheese, tortillas, cereal, snack, juice... also their bakery is very good, muffins and bread are great, lastly their produce is of excellent quality!
Oh, and diapers, wipes, formula, medicine... plus all the clothes, appliances, even decor. Had more to say than I thought lol it really is great!

Go on a visitors pass, go in and ask them for one they’ll let you check it out before committing.. it’s good for families, I take my friend grocery shopping there and I just use her for her Costco card lmao they have some amazing lobster raviolis 😂

They are not always better priced.  I work for a grocery store that always does buy one get ones so if I know an item goes on sale at my store, I won’t purchase it from Costco.

Everything lol I literally have cardigans for work from Costco... Currently, our big buys are their Kirkland diapers, Kirkland (dawn) dish detergent, and green olives. However, my parents literally buy everything there

That’s my main grocery store that I shop at. I like their organic eggs, salad kits, meat and amazing salmon! Toilet paper, paper towels... I buy everything there. Even clothes and flowers, they always have deals

I don’t think it’s worth driving over an hour unless you really buy a LOT when you go. We buy our paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, diapers, wipes, and formula there.  If you buy based on sales at other stores it sometimes works out to the same price (depending on the shopping options where you live of course). Everything at Costco is a big pack so it’s nice sometimes but sometimes is annoying.
