Pink eye maybe ?

So today my 2 year old woke up and had eye boogers, which I know is normal but as the day has went on she’s been constantly rubbing at her eye and telling me “owie” while pointing at her eye and she also had lots of eye boogers. I’ve never had pink eye and have never been around anyone who did so I have no idea what the signs are. Could this be pink eye or just nothing and I’m thinking too much ? Ty in advance
