Extra fluid

I am currently 31 weeks 3 days and have been having an ultrasound every 2 weeks due to having a lot of extra fluid my belly is measuring 2 weeks bigger than anticipated... should I be worried? OB offered to give me pain pills because he says that due to the extra fluid I am having the really bad hip and lower back pain and recommended that I take things slow because I’m not far from bed rest
