yep! i even forgot to use the alcohol pad and thought it might’ve contaminated it 😬 i do highly recommend taking it after 10 or 11 weeks and not at 9. and to have a confirmed scan with your OB of how far you are so you know you’re not doing it too early. wrong results come down to not reading the instructions, contamination, and possibly not enough male fetal DNA in your blood for it to come back positive for a boy. i took mine at 11+4 and it said boy which we confirmed at our 19 week appointment
