Okay so this story needs some background info.

I’ve been dating this boy for the last year and last summer the night before I went off to camp for a week with no cell service I figured out that on the worst night of my summer he was hanging out with a girl who is on my dance team (who is a year older than us) with out telling me. When I confront him about if he was planning on hanging out with her again he said he was planning on it the week I was gone but he wasn’t going to tell me.

So a couple weeks go by and I hear comments from her saying that they are going to prom together and that they are best friends but I brush it off trying to not let petty jealousy get in the way of my relationship.

I told him that I didn’t feel comfertable with them hanging out together but he told me that he was not the type of person to tell some one they couldn’t hang out together.

At this point I was getting a bit annoyed with her but I kept pushing it off and eventually it went away.

Flash forward to valentines day(today).

I am in vacation and I feel absolutely terrible that I’m missing Valentine’s Day.

He texts me and tells me early in the day and says that him and his friend jimmy are hanging out tonight. So I make some comments that him and jimmy are more of a couple then we are as a joke and then he tells me that the girl from above is going to hang out with them tonight. I’ve learned to just push it down but tonight just hurts.

Both of my sisters who have been dating while they are gone on vacation, their boyfriends hang out with other girls and then a week later they break up. So I’ve learned to be cautious of this stuff

He keeps telling me that they are just friends but it hurts because when I can’t be there on Valentine’s Day he goes out with another girl.

I have no idea if I should just let it keep rolling off my back like I normally do or confront him again just to have him say that they are just friends and I have nothing to worry about.

Please help me.
