Here is my sweet boy Luke! He was born yesterday at 34 weeks 6 days weighing 4 lbs 11 ounces. My ob started induction on Tuesday night after my protein levels and blood pressure rose significantly. The magnesium they keep you on is no joke! I could barely see straight during the labor and delivery and the 24 hours after delivery. Finally, tonight I got to hold my baby boy! He is perfect! The doctors are guessing that he’ll be here for about two weeks and then we’ll get to take him home. :) I should be released tomorrow and can’t wait to have a proper shower and get cleaned up. Update: Baby Luke is doing really well! NICU has him on his belly because he was having issues digesting his food on his back. He is now digesting his food perfectly! These nurses and doctors are amazing! They know all the tricks!!
