New to sewing....tips?

Question

So I washed a cushion on delicate and the inside foam padding folded. I undid the seams and bought a zipper. I would like to learn how to sew it on. Any tips? I YouTube it, doesn't seem too hard..... first time for everything right?

There are many zipper feet but this is usually the most common one usually comes with a new sewing machine

Zippers can be a challenge but ones you get a hang of it you will want to put them everywhere. Try using an  Elmer’s washable glue stick and a zipper foot. I think I learned from the crafty Gemini. I watched tons and tons of YouTube vids!
