Constant sore throat

I have a constant sore throat everyday. I thought it was an allergy issue so I take a daily Zyrtec. Still have it. I don't know what it could be. It's not to bad just annoying. No other symptoms. Does anyone know what could cause this? I'll be seeing my doctor in a few months.
