Hello

Life and customs here in Africa is different. Society and family expect more from the females. Family puts their dignity(if it is the right word to use) first, they want their children to never make mistakes. They don't want to be a laughing stock in society. It injures me, to see how judgemental every other parent is when a lady gets pregnant before marriage. It's literally a taboo. I just don't get it. A baby is supposed to be a bundle of joy.

Anyway, I am engaged to the most wonderful person and we are currently TTC but I don't know how my parents are going to react, if I got pregnant.

Need advice, am currently a nursing student.

My fiance and I live together.

We are planning on getting married in 2years time.
