Hcg levels?

So I went and got my hcg levels checked at 7dpo, yes I know that’s early but I thought I got two faint lines on a pregnancy test and got excited. Well it came back at a big fat 0. Should I count myself out for this cycle, or do I still have some hope? Currently 8dpo

Implantation doesn’t occur till about 8-10 days after conception. So testing at 6-7DPO will give you a negative even if you might be pregnant. You need to wait till after implantation (which sometimes can feel like period cramping but lighter and for a day.. usually a week before next AF) and then take a test no earlier than 12DPO. Blood tests are more accurate.. however, can come back negative even though you can be still pregnant. Give it time. And gonin for a urine once you pop on a dollar cheapy test, a digital and early response. Their tests aren’t sensitive.. so just be patient
