i’m turning 19 this month and my boyfriend is 17 and won’t be turning 18 until june. i don’t think it’s necessarily a problem as long as your parents are okay with it and as long as you’re familiar with possible consequences there might be if you engage in sexual activity. whoever is older doesn’t matter, in my opinion.

My sister and her boyfriend are 17 and 18, not sure how big of a gap there is there but it's fine. It's a year, year and a half difference? I don't think that's a big deal at all.
